Dear Potential Sponsor,
Fall is upon us and with that Steamboat Springs Youth Hockey Association gears up for another exciting season of hockey. Children in our community ranging from 6-18 take to the ice under the leadership of volunteer coaches for what is described as “the greatest sport on earth”. Many of course would beg to differ, but for those participants a season of hockey proves to be a rewarding experience. This sport rich in tradition offers children a wonderful opportunity to learn the graces of competing, teamwork and dedication; something that lasts a lifetime.
What was once a sport played on a frozen pond with an object disguised as a puck is now executed on a finely prepared sheet of ice. Each year the costs to train and compete in these facilities increases. Annually SSYHA awards scholarships to those families who are unable to accommodate these rising expenses. To meet these fundraising needs SSYHA hosts four hockey tournaments throughout the season, a hockey swap and a golf tournament in the spring. Each fall the association also reaches out to the community seeking seasonal financial sponsorship.
Below is our seasonal sponsorship packet with an application form for you and your business to consider. Seasonal sponsors are recognized throughout the year as your contribution assists our 150 plus athletes throughout their lives.
